Women Empowerment

Our key concern is to strengthen the community based organizations and build people's capacity through Panchayat Level Federation Formation(PLF), thus mobilizing them towards their empowerment. Panchayats 10 with 50 villages of 2 blocks of 1 district is covered under this programme.

• Women Federation understood their role of unity to solve the local issues.
• Micro plans helped the people to demand for the schemes.
• Savings helped the women to link with the Banks for the fund support.
• Mid day meal and PDS distribution followed the normal time frame through the unity of women.
• Women participation in Gram Sabha increased and more local issues were solved.
• 20 illiterate women Learnt to handle the sewing machines with their skilful zeal.
• SHG formation and Bank linkages became the base for NRLM.
• Panchayat Level 15 Federation formed.
